Registering as in need of assistance if there is a natural disaster
|Elderly Care and Longevity Section|
Nonoichi registers people who will require aid in times of natural disaster and shares this
information with related facilities. Households with only senior citizens, people who
possess a Level 1 or 2 physical disability certificate (Shintaishogaisha-techo), people who possess a rehabilitation certificate A (Ryoiku-techo), and people who are on nursing care
level 3~5 in the nursing-care insurance system are encouraged to register. However, we
would also ask people with the equivalent Level 1 mental disability certificate
(Seishinshogaisha-techo), people being cared for at home who usually require special
medical treatment, foreign residents who have difficulty with the Japanese language, and
people with some kind of disability who would require assistance in the case of a disaster
to contact the Nursing Care and Longevity Section.
