Regarding resident card
Foreign residents who are eligible in any of the below 4 categories of residence, who have an address in Nonoichi City, can apply for a resident card(except short term visitors).
The resident card will contain the following information:
１、card holders name and head of house hold's name
２、date of birth
This information is the same as a Japanese citizens card. However, the following information will also be given;
１、nationality and region
２、date residency started. Furthermore, extra information may be included on the residence card depending on which of the 4 categories they are in.

２、persons granted temporary visitor status

When such permissions are granted, a certificate of permission for temporary refuge or a certificate of permission for provisional stay will be issued respectively.

Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act stipulates that such persons may continue to stay in Japan without acquiring a status of residence for a period not exceeding 60 days

How to get a resident card
A resident card is used to show vital information of an official resident, such as name, birth date, nationality, visa status etc. It will be issued to the person who has an address in Nonoichi City.

How to apply for a resident card
Fill in “Application for certificate of residence” and submit to the Residents Section.
Single registration 200Yen
Multiple registration 300Yen
Notification the resident registration
When you change your address, please bring your residence card, special permanent residence card or alien registration card.

In the case where the householder is a foreigner, a public document proving the relationship with yourself and the householder is necessary. If the public document is not written in Japanese, translation is necessary.
